cat, bird, and piggywiggy.

so i was sick, like yesterday. temperature was a teensy bit over the line. but that just proves my point as to how STUPID this temperature check thing in the morning is. i mean, the people who are there for the teacher to peer at are obviously not sick right? if they were, they would be sleeping at home like i was doing. so really, redundant.

right. i basically spent my day sleeping, eating, watching telly, playing the computer, and generally being a couch potato. i think the school should just shut down. okay. because there are already like 4 people missing from each class. we even had to skip class photos because there were too many people missing to photoshop in. apparently the rule is that if 10% of the student body gets H1N1, the school will shut down. i'm PRETTY sure CIS is well over that mark.

(did you know, H1N1 can be pronounced HoneNone-Honee Nonee. OR Hiney Niney. i'm just saying)

why are we all scared? its even less fatal than normal flu. swine flu is supposed to be a combination of 3 flus. Bird, Cat(did you know there was cat flu? i didnt), and Swine. but, i guess swine prevailed over the name right? maybe the pig was just overall more intimidating that the cat and the bird. its a mystery. thats why its not so serious though, the flus cancel each other out. apparently though, a new swine flu is coming out in winter. (new swine flu, in hospitals near you, winter 2009!)

enough of that. we have better things to do in life than focus on pigs. with influenza.

on top of all this disease, i have cartloads of homework. its not even funny anymore. remember my resolution to own? yes well, its harder than it seems. we had a math test today. and i probably flunked. i skipped so many questions. ugh. my mum will personally go out an buy an axe to kill me with.

then i have..The Essays. they have capitals because important things ALWAYS have capitals. first Essay is for science on the yellow fever virus, and the second Essay is for geo. about my homeland region. both rather tedious.

at least i'm learning volleyball :) its super duper fun! i'm surprisingly skillful at 'digging'. but my forearms hurt now. and i have a friction burn on the front of my ankle that hurts like a...nevermind.
